Hello and welcome to the Sounds of Starlight Theatre website!
Established in 1996 by internationally recognised didgeridoo master Andrew Langford, the Sounds of Starlight Theatre has become a hot destination spot for thousands of tourists, travelers, back-packers and school groups visiting Central Australia each year.
A world of incredible sound!
The Sounds of Starlight Theatre has become most famous for
The Didgeridoo Show Outback. The show showcases the magnificence of Andrew Langford’s didgeridoo playing in a unique contemporary presentation of this ancient instrument. Each composition performed in the show is inspired by stories and experiences that evoke the red deserts, the blue skies and the early explorers and Aboriginal custodians of this great Australian land. Orchestral sound-scapes, digital photographic imagery, live hand percussion and electronic drums together with Andrew’s pulsating sounds and rhythms make this a truly spellbinding and memorable experience not to be missed!
There’s no other show like this in Australia!
The Didgeridoo Show Outback has earned a reputation as one of Central Australia’s most memorable live shows. Presented in the intimate settings of the Sounds of Starlight Theatre located in the heart of Alice Springs.
Free Didgeridoo Workshops!
The Sounds of Starlight Theatre experience is not just limited to the Didgeridoo Show Outback however, you can also participate in one of the

You’ll learn how to make some basic sounds, get some tips on breathing techniques, rhythms and vocalising. You’ll also learn a little more about the history of the didgeridoo. And, these workshops are often conducted by Andrew Langford himself which is a real bonus!
This is a complimentary lesson so no bookings are required and all of the didgeridoos are provided at no cost to you. So come on in and join in, it’s a great fun experience for everyone!
